Abstract:
An imaging apparatus including: an imaging unit that images an object and generates imaging data; an image processor that generates image data from the imaging data, and generates an imaging check-purpose image from the image data; and a displaying unit that displays the imaging check-purpose image. The image processor detects a blur amount of the image data, and calculates information relating to a distance to the object using the blur amount. The image processor determines a focus state of the image data, and divides the image data into a first region including a focused region and a second region which is a region other than the first region. The image processor generates the imaging check-purpose image by performing, on the image data, enhancement processing of enhancing a visual difference between the image data of the first region and the image data of the second region using the distance-relating information.
Abstract:
A depth estimation apparatus including: an imaging device which generates a first image signal and a second image signal by imaging an object at different phases; a storage unit configured to store model data defining a relationship between (i) lens blur and phase difference of the object in images and (ii) position of the object in the images in the depth axis; and a detecting unit configured to detect a position of the object in the depth axis from the first image signal and the second image signal, using the model data, wherein a phase difference between the first image signal and the second image signal is smaller than or equal to 15% in terms of a base line length.
Abstract:
Provided is a video recording apparatus that can generate image signals to increase a difference in amount of blur in recording video using a rolling shutter during wobbling, and includes: an image sensor that generates an image signal corresponding to an image; a driving unit that drives a focus lens along an optical axis; and a control unit that controls the driving unit for controlling a focus in an optical system, while the focus lens is wobbling, wherein the control unit (i) generates blur signals to increase a difference in amount of blur in a predetermined region by controlling imaging timings at which the image sensor captures the image, (ii) calculates distance information on a distance to the object to be displayed in the region, using blur signals in the region among the generated blur signals, and (iii) controls the focus using the distance information.
