摘要： An image forming device includes: a main casing; a retaining member; a plurality of developing units; a plurality of toner cartridges; and an operation unit. The retaining member is configured to be movable in a first direction between an accommodated position and a pulled-out position. The retaining member includes a first side plate and a second side plate extending in the first direction and disposed in confrontation with and spaced apart from each other in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction. The developing units are retained in the retaining member. The toner cartridges have one-on-one correspondence to the developing units and are configured to be mountable in or detachable from the retaining member when the retaining member is located at the pulled-out position. Each toner cartridge includes a casing formed with a cartridge opening, and a cartridge shutter configured to be movable between an open position for opening the cartridge opening and a closed position for closing the cartridge opening. The operation unit is provided in the retaining member and configured to be pivotally movable in an imaginary plane parallel to the first direction and the second direction. The operation unit is interlocked with the cartridge shutter while the toner cartridge is mounted in the retaining member to move the cartridge shutter between the open position and the closed position in accordance with the pivotal movement of the operation unit.

The holder member moves between an accommodated position in which it is accommodated in an accommodation space in the casing and a pull-out position in which at least part of the holder member is outside the accommodation space. Each toner box comprises a toner container formed with an opening and a shutter for opening and closing the opening. The operation member moves between a first position and a second position for closing and opening the shutter, respectively. When the holder member is on its way to the accommodated position from the pull-out position, a stop member prevents the holder member from moving while the operation member is at the first position and permits the holder member to move while the operation member is at the second position.

The main body is configured to accommodate toner therein and that has a main-body-side communication through-hole, through which an interior and an exterior of the main body communicate. The toner seal is configured to be disposed between the main body and the shutter and to surround a perimeter of the main-body-side communication through-hole when the shutter is in the closed position. The toner seal includes: an elastic layer provided with a fixing surface; and a mesh layer disposed on a surface of the elastic layer opposite to the fixing surface.

The opening faces in a first direction when the toner cartridge is accommodated in a corresponding cartridge accommodating section in the support member. The shutter is movable between an opening position for exposing the opening and a closing position for closing the opening. The cover member is movable between an opening posture for exposing a first side of the corresponding cartridge accommodating section in the first direction and a closing posture for opposing the first side of the corresponding cartridge accommodating section.

摘要： A toner box for being detachably mounted in a developing unit of an image-forming device, includes: a main body; a shutter; a shutter cover; and a toner seal. The main body is configured to accommodate toner therein and has a main-body-side communication through-hole, through which an interior and an exterior of the main body communicate. The shutter is disposed so as to be capable of moving between an open position in which the shutter opens the main-body-side communication through-hole, and a closed position in which the shutter closes the main-body-side communication through-hole. The shutter cover is configured to cover part of the shutter. The shutter cover has a cover-side communication through-hole at a position corresponding to the main-body-side communication through-hole to allow communication of toner through the main-body-side communication through-hole. The toner seal is configured to be disposed between the main body and the shutter and surround a perimeter of the main-body-side communication through-hole when the shutter is in the closed position. A leading edge of the shutter defined in a closing direction, in which the shutter is moved from the open position to the closed position, is positioned on an upstream side of the main-body-side communication through-hole in the closing direction when the shutter is in the open position. Part of the shutter is covered by a portion of the shutter cover surrounding the cover-side communication through-hole when the shutter is in the closed position.

The filling port is defined by a cylindrical through-hole having an inner peripheral surface, and a protruding portion protruding radially inward from the inner peripheral surface. The cap is attached to the casing in a first direction. The cap includes: a main body portion in a tubular shape having an outer peripheral surface; and a flange portion protruding radially outward from the outer peripheral surface in annular fashion. The flange portion is positioned downstream of the main body portion in the first direction and configured to be in contact with the inner peripheral surface. The protruding portion is positioned upstream of the flange portion in the first direction upon attachment of the cap to the casing.
