Abstract:
An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) detection method and a system therefor are provided. The UAV detection method includes receiving a radio signal from air, detecting a global positioning system (GPS) leakage signal of a predetermined frequency from the received radio signal, and determining that a UAV is detected when the GPS leakage signal is detected.
Abstract:
A biosignal detecting apparatus and a method therefor are provided. The biosignal detecting apparatus includes a signal generator configured to generate a predetermined specific frequency signal, at least two transmit helix antennas configured to transmit circular polarizations according to the specific frequency signal to a subject, a receive helix antenna configured to receive a circular polarization including a biosignal reflected from the subject, a mixer configured to generate an intermediate frequency (IF) signal by mixing the received circular polarization with the specific frequency signal and a detecting unit configured to detect the biosignal of the subject from the IF signal.

A method and a system for a multiband, dual polarization, and switch mode beamforming antenna for a small cell base station are disclosed. The disclosed system for a multiband, dual polarization, and switch mode beamforming antenna for a small cell base station may include: a dielectric substrate comprising a ground plane on which an antenna is disposed; a vertically polarized antenna reflector disposed on the dielectric substrate to be vertical thereto, and configured to induce forming of a vertically polarized beam; a vertically polarized antenna parasitic reflector that is a reconfigurable frequency selective reflector provided in a polyhedral structure for forming the vertically polarized beam; a horizontally polarized antenna reflector disposed on the dielectric substrate to be horizontal thereto and configured to induce forming of a horizontally polarized beam; and a plurality of switches configured to adjust a radiation mode of the vertically polarized beam and a radiation mode of the horizontally polarized beam.
Abstract:
A method for measuring a high-accuracy and real-time heart rate based on a continuous-wave radar is provided. The method includes receiving an in-phase (I) signal and a quadrature (Q) signal for a receive signal received through the continuous-wave radar, selecting any one signal by comparing magnitudes of the received I signal and the received Q signal, performing frequency transform of each of bases respectively having predetermined phases with respect to the any one selected signal, and determining a heart rate based on a magnitude response of each of the bases by the frequency transform.
