摘要： A combination gutter protector and safety device for use with a ladder which is leaned against the upper part of a structural wall that is equipped with a rain gutter under the eaves. The device is secured to the fascia board of the wall in a longitudinal plane adjacent to or substantially even with the plane of the open top of the gutter in such position that it protects the gutter against deformation when the ladder is put in place. The device also serves to provide a contained recess for holding the ladder against slippage and, if desired, locking the ladder against theft. The structure of the device accomplishes the above purposes without occupying any part of the channel of the gutter and thus does not interfere with the free flow of water, leaves and other debris in the channel of the gutter.

摘要： A magnetic pickup tool including a length of highly flexible tubing with a permanent magnet secured to one end of the tubing. Removably positioned within the interior of the flexible tube is a stiffening member such as a length of iron wire of about the same length as the flexible tubing. The stiffening member is bendable but when bent has the ability to take a "set". A second length of flexible tubing completely surrounds the first or inner tubing and is slidable thereon. The function of the outer tube is to surround the magnetic tip when the tool is in the process of being positioned to pick up an object so as to prevent the magnetic tip of the tool from being attracted to an unwanted metal object. After the tool has been positioned at or near the object to be picked up, the user then grasps the outer tube and pulls it away from the magnetic tip exposing the tip to make contact with the desired object. A further feature of the tool is that the stiffening member is removable. Thus, where the tool is being used to retrieve an object which requires that the tool have a very high degree of flexibility, the stiffening member is removed and then the entire length of the tool can be bent in virtually any type of configuration.

摘要： A finger-mounted disposable toothbrush including a lanyard of dental floss, a first end of which is attached to the toothbrush and a second end of which is looped around the user's wrist. The dental floss lanyard prevents swallowing of the toothbrush during use and can also be used for flossing the user's teeth after brushing. The disposable toothbrush further comprises a mounting ring which fits over the user's finger. The mounting ring is affixed to the top side of a bristle base. Tooth cleaning bristles are attached to the bottom side of the bristle base and are optionally impregnated with dental paste or powder. Bumps can be molded in those areas of the bristle base and mounting ring with which the user's finger comes in contact, said bumps enhancing the user's grip on the toothbrush.
