    Abstract: A network registration method and apparatus, and a mobile terminal are presented. During re-registration with a network, after receiving a channel allocation rejection message sent by the network, a mobile terminal sorts all available frequency channels according to network resource statuses of frequency channels with which network registration failed before and that are in a low priority list. And then the mobile terminal tries to camp on all the available frequency channels according to an order of the sorting to determine a frequency channel to be camped on. The mobile terminal sends a network registration message to register with the frequency channel to be camped on.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of wireless communications technologies, and provide a switching method. The method specifically includes: when user equipment is in idle mode, acquiring a 2G/3G base station candidate set; when initiating a voice service, sending a CSFB request message to an LTE base station; receiving a standard and a frequency of a target 2G/3G base station that are sent by the LTE base station to the user equipment; determining, according to the standard and the frequency of the target 2G/3G base station, whether the 2G/3G base station candidate set includes the target 2G/3G base station; and if the 2G/3G base station candidate set includes the target 2G/3G base station, switching, from the LTE base station to the target 2G/3G base station according to the standard and the frequency of the target 2G/3G base station.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a terminal configuration method and an apparatus. When determining that a SIM card in a terminal is powered on, a wireless communications module reads SIM card information such as some or all of an international mobile subscriber identity (IMSI), a service provider name (SPN), or a global identifier ID (GID) in the SIM card from the SIM card. After that, the SIM card information obtained by the wireless communications module is sent to an application processor. The application processor obtains an operator parameter based on the SIM card information reported by the wireless communications module, and configures the terminal. Therefore, at a moment at which the SIM card is powered on, the wireless communications module obtains the SIM card information from the SIM card, so that a timing for the UE to obtain the IMSI is advanced.

    Abstract: Embodiments provide a method for searching for a network by a terminal, a terminal, and a storage medium, which reduce network search time. A terminal controls a first wireless communications module to search a first band for a first camping frequency channel number and controls a second wireless communications module to search a second band for a second camping frequency channel number. Therefore, compared with the prior art in which both the first wireless communications module and the second wireless communications module search a full band for a network, the embodiments can accelerate a network search process of the terminal. If the first wireless communications module finds a to-be-camped-on frequency channel number that meets a preset condition, the terminal shares the to-be-camped-on frequency channel number found by the first wireless communications module with the second wireless communications module, thus shortening a network search time of the second wireless communications module.

    Abstract: A method can be implemented by a user equipment to update RPLMN information. A PLMN identifier is selected from an available PLMN identifier set that includes PLMN identifiers with RPLMN information, HPLMN information, UPLMN information, and OPLMN information separately. A location update request message that carries the PLMN identifier is sent to a mobile switching center. A TMSI reallocation command is acquired from the mobile switching center according to the location update request message.
