The method includes: generating, by a network device, control information, where the control information includes first indication information, second indication information, and third indication information, the first indication information is used to indicate a plurality of channel state information-reference signal CSI-RS resources, the second indication information is used to indicate at least one piece of the following information: beam index information of the plurality of CSI-RS resources that is sent by the network device, beam index information of the plurality of CSI-RS resources that is received by a terminal device, or beam pair information corresponding to the network device and the terminal, and the third indication information is used to indicate a measurement method of the plurality of CSI-RS resources; and sending, by the network device, the control information to the terminal device.

摘要: Example information configuration methods, apparatus, and systems are described. One example method includes generating first configuration information by a network device. The first configuration information includes at least one of the following information: receive beam indication information of a terminal device, reference signal sending and channel state information feedback period indication information, reference signal function indication information, or beam sweeping method indication information. The network device sends the first configuration information to the terminal device by using layer one or layer two signaling. The embodiments of the present invention provide a measurement information configuration solution when a narrow beam technology is used in a high-frequency band.

A terminal device receives first information sent by a network device. The first information is used to indicate a first reference signal group that is on a first carrier, there is a correspondence between the first reference signal group that is on the first carrier and a first reference signal that is on a second carrier, and the first reference signal group that is on the first carrier includes at least two reference signals. The terminal device receives the first reference signal group that is on the first carrier and that is sent by the network device.

摘要: A communication beam determining method and a corresponding apparatus are disclosed. The method includes respectively sending, by a network side device, downlink sounding signals by using M beams with a first width, where main lobe directions of any two of the M beams are different; receiving, by the network side device, sounding results returned by user equipment (UE), and determining N beams with a second width based on the sounding results, where the second width is less than the first width, a coverage area of a set of the N beams is smaller than a coverage area of a set of the M beams, and M and N are integers and not less than 2; and respectively sending, by the network side device, downlink scanning signals by using the N beams, and determining, based on scanning results returned by the UE, a first beam for data transmission with the UE.

摘要: The present invention relates to a measurement reporting method, and a communications apparatus. In the method, measurement reporting parameters reported to a base station satisfies reporting rules including: (a) a reporting setting with a smaller identifier has priority over a reporting setting with a larger identifier; (b) a serving cell with a smaller identifier has priority over a serving cell with a larger identifier; (c) a reporting type involving a beam index indication has priority over a reporting type involving an RI; and (d) aperiodic measurement reporting has priority over semi-persistent measurement reporting, or semi-persistent measurement reporting has priority over periodic measurement reporting. According to the method, performance of a wireless communications system is improved.

摘要: This application discloses a multi-codeword transmission method and an apparatus. The method includes: generating, by a network device, downlink control information corresponding to each of a plurality of code words to be sent to a terminal device, where the downlink control information corresponding to each code word includes at least one of the following: a physical downlink shared channel resource element mapping and quasi-co-location indicator, and an antenna port(s), scrambling identity and number of layers; and sending, by the network device, downlink control information corresponding to the plurality of code words to the terminal device. Corresponding apparatuses are further disclosed. According to the technical solutions of this application, the network device generates the downlink control information corresponding to each of the plurality of code words to be sent to the terminal device, and the terminal device may demodulate data for the plurality of code words based on downlink control information corresponding to the plurality of code words. This ensures that the terminal device correctly demodulates data in a multi-codeword transmission scenario.
