    Abstract: A packet forwarding method, an apparatus, and a system for service function chaining (SFC)-based packet forwarding are disclosed. The packet forwarding method performed by a first service function forwarding node includes receiving a packet forwarding rule from a control node, where the packet forwarding rule indicating a mapping relationship between a match item of traffic characteristic information of a packet and route prefix information; receiving a first packet, where a header of the first packet carries traffic characteristic information of the first packet; determining, based on the packet forwarding rule, target route prefix information corresponding to the traffic characteristic information of the first packet; determining target next-hop information based on the target route prefix information, and forwarding the first packet based on the target next-hop information.

    Abstract: This application discloses a route processing method and a network device. The network device obtains a route prefix and autonomous system information associated with the obtained route prefix, where the associated autonomous system information includes to-be-verified autonomous system information. The network device verifies whether there is a match item in a route origin information base, where the match item includes the obtained route prefix and the to-be-verified autonomous system information; and determines, based on a verification result, whether to send the obtained route prefix. The network device verifies the autonomous system information associated with the to-be-sent route prefix before sending the route prefix. This reduces a possibility that the network device sends route information carrying incorrect autonomous system information, and reduces a possibility of causing an abnormal network flow direction.

    Abstract: A route determining method, apparatus, and a network device are disclosed. The method includes a first forwarding node receives routing information from a second forwarding node, and then sends a packet to a destination node based on the routing information. The routing information includes a node identifier of the destination node and at least one piece of indication information that is in a one-to-one correspondence with at least one third forwarding node, and the second forwarding node belongs to the at least one third forwarding node. The method includes: receiving routing advertisement information from a first network to a second network; determining all routing nodes included in a path through which data pass when flowing from the second network to the first network according to the routing advertisement information; and configuring a next hop routing node for each determined routing node, where the next hop routing node is a node in all the routing nodes included in the path and is adjacent to the routing node for which the next hop routing node is configured, and the routing node for which the next hop routing node is configured does not include a routing node of the first network or a routing node of the second network.
