Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a communication method and apparatus, and a computer storage medium, to reduce communication latency between a terminal and a base station, and improve a capability of adapting to a latency-sensitive scenario. The method provided in this application includes a terminal that receives at least one uplink configuration and at least one random access configuration from a network device. The uplink configuration is used to indicate a parameter for sending uplink data, and the random access configuration is used to indicate a parameter for sending a preamble. The at least one uplink configuration includes a first uplink configuration, the at least one random access configuration includes a first random access configuration, and there is a correspondence between the first uplink configuration and the first random access configuration.

Abstract: This application discloses a sidelink (SL) communication method and an apparatus. In this application, the second terminal receives first control information and first data from the first terminal, where a cast type indicated by the first control information is SL groupcast transmission with negative acknowledgement (NACK) only feedback. The second terminal starts a first timer at a specified location after a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback resource corresponding to the first data, where duration of the first timer indicates minimum duration that elapses before SL resource scheduling information used for HARQ retransmission is expected to be received. After the first timer expires, if the second terminal successfully decodes the first data and detects a NACK on the HARQ feedback resource, the second terminal starts a second timerwith duration indicating maximum duration that elapses before the SL resource scheduling information used for HARQ retransmission is received.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a HARQ process-based data transmission method and a terminal, and relate to communication technologies, to determine an initial status of a HARQ process and further perform uplink transmission by using a HARQ process that is in a not pending status. A specific solution includes: A terminal sets one or more HARQ processes that are associated with a first configured grant CG configuration on a first bandwidth part BWP to be in a not pending status, where the first CG configuration includes one or more CG configurations configured by a network device for the terminal on the first BWP, and the first BWP is a currently activated BWP of the terminal; and the terminal sends uplink data to the network device by using the HARQ process that is associated with the first CG configuration and that is in the not pending status.

Abstract: A communication method is provided. In the method, if a first logical channel of a terminal device does not have an uplink resource for carrying a scheduling request (SR) and the terminal device is in a first SR state, remaining, by the terminal device, in the first SR state and/or a first buffer status report (BSR) state until data of the first logical channel and/or a BSR are/is sent, where the BSR is used to indicate buffer status information of a logical channel group including the first logical channel. When a logical channel of the terminal device does not have an uplink resource for carrying the scheduling request, a problem that the terminal device cannot obtain an uplink transmission resource can be resolved.

Abstract: This application provides a random access method and a communications apparatus. The method includes: determining at least one random access preamble from at least one 2-step random access preamble, or determining one type of random access preamble from at least one 2-step random access preamble and at least one 4-step random access preamble, and performing random access by using the determined random access preamble. According to the application, the terminal device can determine a type of random access to be performed, thereby reducing an access latency.
