Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for learning radio frequency pulses transmitted at various frequencies in a wireless environment, including false radar signals and actual radar. For example, the system can keep a list of radio frequency pulse characteristics detected by access points (APs) but ignored when not declared a radar. The detected radio frequency pulse can be compared with those on the list and may be added to the deny-list if not radar. The AP learns what intervals are normal for the communication environment and if the noise someday looks like a real radar (but it not actually a radar), it will not be classified as radar because it is on the deny-list.

Abstract: A method for determining presence of a radar includes receiving a plurality of bursts in a dynamic frequency selection (DFS) channel of an access point, storing the plurality of bursts in a queue, in response to the queue comprising a threshold amount of bursts, determining a timespan of a first burst in the queue to a last burst in the queue, partitioning the timespan into at least a first group and a second group, determining a first number of bursts present in the first group and a second number of bursts present in the second group, in response to a difference between the first number of bursts and the second number of bursts equaling more than one, determining the radar is not present, and in response to the difference between the first number of bursts and the second number of bursts equaling one or less, determining radar is present.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described for prioritizing channel access to uplink (UL) multi-user (MU) data capable active stations (STAs) by dynamically adapting a MU enhanced distributed channel access (EDCA) parameter set to provide for increased access to the channel by the UL MU data capable active STAs when the total number of active STAs associated to the AP less the number of active UL MU capable STAs exceeds the number of active UL MU data capable STAs; and by dynamically adapting the MU EDCA parameter set to equal a legacy EDCA parameter set to reduce collisions between the UL MU data capable STAs when the number of active UL MU data capable STAs exceeds or equals the total number of active STAs associated to the AP less the number of active UL MU data capable STAs.

Abstract: Examples described herein relate to an investigator device and a method for determining a condition of an antenna of an access point (AP). At least one investigator device may receive one or more antenna condition test frames transmitted via a plurality of antennas of the AP Further, the at least one investigator device may determine an average received signal strength indicator (RSSI) value corresponding to each of the plurality of antennas based on the one or more antenna condition test frames. A condition of the plurality of antennas of the AP may be determined based on a relative comparison between the average RSSI value corresponding to each of the plurality of antennas of the AP. Moreover, in some examples, the at least one investigator device may send a notification to an administrator of the AP based on the condition of the plurality of antennas.
