Abstract: Systems and methods for server-side rendering of native content for presentation within an environment of an application are provided. A method includes receiving, by a data processing system, from a client device, a request for content including a content slot identifier identifying a particular content slot provided by a resource; accessing, using the content slot identifier, a database to identify a presentation schema used to arrange content components to generate rendered content files according to a specific configuration for display within an environment of the resource; identifying, responsive to the request for content, a content asset including a plurality of content components; rendering, as a rendered content file, the plurality of content components based on the presentation schema corresponding to the content slot; and transmitting, by the data processing system, the rendered content file to the client device for display within the content slot of the resource.

Abstract: A system provides a remote electronic device with secure access to a web service. The system generates an alphanumeric character set, encodes the character set in a barcode, and outputs the barcode on a login page. When the system receives an access request from a remote electronic device, it will determine whether the request or a following communication includes the character set and a unique identifier for an authentication application that is installed on the remote electronic device. If so, then the system will use the unique identifier to identify a user account for a user who is using the remote device, generate a home page that includes one or more functions for which the user account is authorized, and output the home page. The system will output the home page in a manner that permits the remote electronic device to securely access and display the home page.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus for presenting deferred content are presented. In one aspect, a method includes, after presentation of a content item on a first device, receiving an indication from a user to save the content item for re-presentation; storing an identifier associated with the content item with a first identifier associated with the first device; linking identifiers associated with plural devices, browsers, or applications that are accessed by the user; receiving a request for content from a device or application based on access by the user, including receiving either the first identifier or one of the identifiers that is linked to the first identifier; determining candidate content items responsive to the request including determining that the stored identifier is associated with a candidate content item; and providing the content item for re-presentation to the user based on information associated with the request and information associated with the content item.

Abstract: Applications that rely on user authentication information execute within an application container on the computing device. The application container comprises a plug receiver module and a delegate module. When a request for authentication is initiated, the user is prompted to connect a remote identification device to the computing device. The remote identification device stores an encrypted version of a user secret code. The plug receiver module reads the encrypted version of the user secret code and communicates the encrypted information to a remote authentication server. The remote authentication server decrypts the user secret code and uses the decrypted user secret code to identify and communicate corresponding user authentication information to the delegate module. The delegate module establishes an authenticated session by making the user authentication information available to the applications executing in the application container.
