Abstract: An air purifying system includes an air purifier mechanism, a controller, and a sensing device. The sensing device is configured to measure an air quality parameter of the air entering the housing via the air inlet to generate inlet air quality data, and to measure an air quality parameter of the purified air exiting the housing via the air outlet to generate outlet air quality data. The controller is configured to: receive the inlet air quality data and the outlet air quality data, compare the inlet air quality data and the outlet air quality data with their corresponding predetermined threshold ranges, and determine an action to be taken.

Abstract: A chair comprises a seat pan member, a seat back member having a lumbar support member, a lumbar support assembly operatively connected to the lumbar support member and configured for moving the lumbar support member, with respect to the seat pan member and the seat back member, between at least a first position and a second position, and an actuator configured to operate the lumbar support assembly for movement of the lumbar support member between at least the first position and the second position. When the lumbar support member is in the second position, the lumbar support member is positioned forwardly, in a direction toward the seated user's lower back, relative to the seat back member so as to enable the user to be seated forwardly on the seat pan member while being engaged with the lumbar support member.

Abstract: A variable height platform system comprises a frame assembly, at least two leg assemblies, a drive mechanism, and a sensor. The frame assembly is configured to support and be removably connected to a tabletop. The drive mechanism is configured to either extend or retract each leg assembly in a direction substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis to set a height of the frame assembly in an elevated position for use. The sensor is configured to sense position and movement of a user in a predetermined area including an area of the variable height platform system and an area proximate the variable height platform system. The controller is operatively connected to the sensor and drive mechanism. The controller is configured to operate the drive mechanism in response to the sensor sensing the position and movement of the user in the predetermined area.

Abstract: A support system for use with a portable electronic device comprises a base, a resiliently deformable support member, and a resiliently deformable invertible member. The invertible member is connected to the support member and invertible between a retracted position having a convex configuration overlapping the support member provided on the base and having a convex configuration projecting outwardly from the base and an extended position inverted from the convex position wherein the invertible member has a concave configuration projecting outwardly from the support member. Central portions of the support member and the invertible member together define an actuatable portion. The actuatable portion is operable by depression thereof when the invertible member is in the retracted position thereof to inwardly deform the central portions of the invertible member and the support member so as to initiate inversion of the invertible member from the retracted position to the extended position.

Abstract: The device disclosed herein is a device for performing binding functions such as stapling, hole punching, and comb binding. Abstract: The invention is a monitor arm assembly including a rotation limiter that includes movable tabs to set the rotation limits of the arms with respect to each other or other assemblies.
