The portable electronic device also includes a sensor array mounted within the housing along the sensor array region and comprising a frame member coupled to the rear cover along the internal surface and defining a wall structure defining a first container region and a second container region, a camera module positioned in the first container region, and a depth sensor module positioned in the second container region and attached to the internal surface of the rear cover.

Abstract: An electronic device including a housing comprising one or more walls that define an interior cavity and that include a first wall having an audio opening extending through the first wall from an exterior surface of the housing to the interior cavity; a bracket disposed within the interior cavity and having first and second opposing surfaces, a first channel extending along the first surface and having a first end spaced apart from and surrounding the audio opening, and a second channel fluidly coupled to and extending perpendicular to the first channel through the second surface at a location laterally displaced from the audio opening; and a microphone disposed within the interior cavity and coupled to the second surface of the bracket over the second channel, wherein the bracket cooperates with the first wall to create an acoustic pathway that extends from the audio opening through the first wall, through the first channel and through the second channel to the microphone.

Abstract: This application relates to a portable electronic device including a processor and an operational component assembly, the operational component assembly including a frame. The frame carries a sensor that is coupled to the frame, where the sensor is capable of (i) receiving an environmental stimulus, and (ii) subsequently, generating an environmental parameter based on the environmental stimulus. The operational components further include a speaker that includes a magnetic driver that is capable of generating a magnetic field in response to receiving the instructions, and a diaphragm that is capable of actuating in response to the magnetic field being generated by the magnetic driver. An opening is disposed at an external surface of the frame such that when an amount of moisture is present within the volume, the magnetic driver receives the instructions from the processor to generate a magnetic field that actuates the diaphragm so as to expel the moisture.

Abstract: A dual subscriber identity module (SIM) card connector is provided that includes a lower connector housing portion having a bottom surface and an upper connector housing portion having a top surface. The upper connector housing portion is coupled to the lower connector housing portion to define an opening for a receiving space between the upper and lower connector housing portions. The opening and receiving space are sized and shaped to slidably receive a SIM card tray. The connector includes a first plurality of electrical contacts disposed at the bottom surface of the lower connector housing portion and configured to make contact with a first SIM card disposed on a first side of the SIM card tray when the tray is received within the receiving space. The connector includes a second plurality of electrical contacts disposed at the top surface of the upper connector housing portion and configured to make contact with a second SIM card disposed on a second side of the SIM card tray opposite the first side when the tray is received within the receiving space.
