Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein to determine data associated with affiliated color palettes identified from keyword searches of color palettes. Color palettes may be searched by name or other data associated with the color palettes. Affiliated color palettes may be determined based at least in part on an input color. Furthermore, affiliated colors can be determined based at least in part on votes and/or rankings. The items and/or images associated with affiliated color palettes may be identified. Various user interfaces may be based at least in part on the keyword searches of color palettes and/or determination of affiliated color palettes.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for generating color-related item recommendations using color palette information. A request may be received from a user for a color-related item recommendation. The request may include an input image and one or more item attributes. Based at least in part on an analysis of the input image to identify affiliated colors to the input image and the one or more item attributes, one or more items corresponding to the affiliated colors and the one or more item attributes are identified. Where there is more than one identified item, a ranking for the identified plurality of items may be generated. Item recommendations comprising at least a portion of the identified plurality of items in accordance with the generated ranking may be provided for presentation on a user device.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for generating social networking recommendations. Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for associating colors or color names with a color image based on hue. A set of hue values can be extracted from color data, such as a color palette, corresponding to a color image. A representative hue can be derived from the set of hue values. Colors included in the color data that are attributable to the representative hue can be identified and one or more colors can be derived therefrom as representative of a subject depicted by the color image. Color names matching the representative colors can be identified and associated with the color image. In particular, a common color name can be determined therefrom and associated with the subject of the color image.

Abstract: Systems and methods are described to generate a color palette with color combinations based on human color preferences. One or more input colors can be used to determine affiliated colors based on the presence of colors in color palettes that have been voted on and/or ranked by a community of users. Each affiliated color can be weighted, normalized, and ordered based at least in part on the level of preference for the color palette to which it belongs and the relative popularity of the input colors. A color from the ordered affiliated colors can be selected and added to the custom palette of colors.
