    摘要: In order to generate a two-dimensional image of a sample in a short time using THz waves, provided is a reflective imaging device including a sample holder, a THz wave light source, a THz wave camera, a rotation mechanism for rotating the holder and the camera, and a processing unit. A sample unit includes an incidence member, a sample, and a reflection member. The sample includes a first region of only a membrane and a second region including a biopolymer. The camera detects, with regard to respective incident angles, a THz wave in which interference occurs between a component reflected at an interface between the incidence member and the sample and a component reflected at an interface between the sample and the reflection member, of each portion of the sample unit, and outputs a signal. The processing unit specifies an incident angle at which a signal of a first THz wave that interferes in the first region is relatively small and a signal of a second THz that interferes in the second region is relatively large, and generates a two-dimensional image of the sample based on the signal from the camera with regard to the specified incident angle.

    摘要: The image forming apparatus includes a CPU that performs control to form an inspection image for determining whether or not banding is suppressed to be smaller than a predetermined threshold value; and a density sensor that detects an intensity of banding periodically occurring in a sub-scanning direction of the formed inspection image. If based the detected banding intensity, the CPU has determined that the banding is not suppressed to be smaller than the predetermined threshold value, the CPU performs control to not perform banding correction or performs control to re-set a relationship between a phase of a rotary member and correction information.

    摘要: In response to a request from a central processing unit (CPU) 11 (i.e., firmware) of a node 10, a transfer control unit 14a of a direct memory access (DMA) controller 14 transmits a message and data to another discretionary node 3 by way of a serial bus 1, a switch 2 or the like. In this event, the firmware stores data to be transmitted, a message, and a descriptor thereof in memory 12. In the case of requesting the transmission of the message, the descriptor contains a flag indicating “whether or not there is a need to wait for a response from the data transmission destination”. If the flag is set to ON, the transfer control unit 14a notifies the firmware of a simulated completion immediately instead of waiting for a completion response from the transmission destination node 3.
