摘要: An intradiscal shield and an exterior shield configured to prevent re-herniation and to provide structural integrity to a spinal defect within or on a spinal disc. An insertion instrument to insert the intradiscal shield within the spinal defect and attach the intradiscal shield or exterior shield to the spinal disc. The insertion instrument having a distal tip for spraying a protein crosslinking reagent within the spinal defect. The exterior shield configured for attaching to the exterior wall of the spinal disc and blocking an exterior opening of the spinal defect.

摘要: An insertion instrument for inserting an implant includes an elongated main body having a proximal handle and a distal portion that selectively couples to the implant. A plunger is slidably engaged in a central passage of the elongated main body configured to fix the implant to the elongated main body by selectively filling the central passage within the distal portion. A hex nut driver is concentrically located about the plunger and elongated main body to deploy an actuation plunger of the implant. The proximal handle portion of the main body includes a staggered path therethrough for accepting a tab of the plunger therein. Advancement and retraction of the plunger tab within the staggered path alternates the insertion instrument between an unlocked position configured to mount the implant on the distal portion of the elongated main body, a locked position configured to lock the implant on the distal portion, and a deployed position configured to secure the implant.

摘要: The design consists of the visual features of the GRADUATED BONE TAP shown in the drawings, whether those features are features of one of shape, pattern, ornament or configuration or are a combination of any of these features;FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the GRADUATED BONE TAP;FIG. 2 is a top plan view of the GRADUATED BONE TAP;FIG. 3 is a side elevational view of the GRADUATED BONE TAP;FIG. 4 is a front end view of the GRADUATED BONE TAP; andFIG. 5 is a rear end view of the GRADUATED BONE TAP.The structural features depicted in broken lines have been shown for purposes of illustrating portions of the GRADUATED BONE TAP that form no part of the claimed design. The article has variable length in the specified portions identified by break lines as shown in the drawings.
