A color diffusion transfer photographic material which comprises: (a) a light-sensitive element containing at least one silver halide emulsion layer having a dye image-providing material associated therewith; (b) an image-receiving element capable of imagewise fixing the dye image-providing material as a result of exposure and development of the silver halide emulsion layer; and (c) a processing composition capable of causing development of the silver halide emulsion layer and containing a mercapto compound having a molecular weight of about 230 or higher; with at least one of the light-sensitive element, the image-receiving element and the processing composition containing a developing agent for the silver halide.

A silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing a dispersion, said dispersion comprising oleophilic fine particles containing (a) at least one oil-soluble cyan coupler represented by formula (I) (described herein) capable of forming substantially non-diffusible cyan dye upon coupling with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent, and (b) a water-insoluble, organic solvent-soluble homopolymer or copolymer comprising not more than about 20% by weight of a repeating unit having an acid radical in the main chain or a side chain thereof, wherein the dispersion does not contain high-boiling point organic solvents. The photographic material provides color images excellent in preservability, particularly resistance to dark discoloration and light discoloration in good balance.

A silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer, said silver halide emulsion layer containing a pyrazoloazole series magenta coupler represented by general formula [I] ##STR1## wherein, R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent; and X represents a hydrogen atom or a releasing group which is released at the reaction with the oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent; at least one of said R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 is an alkyl group having a secondary or tertiary carbon atom directly bonded to the skeleton, at least one of said R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 is a sulfonamidoalkyl group or a sulfamoylalkyl group; and the magenta coupler may form a dimer or more polymer at the position of said R.sup.1, R.sup.2 or X.By the combined use of high boiling point organic solvent and ultraviolet absorbent, light fastness and coloring property are markedly improved.
