The left and the right housing portions each form one or more magnetic interior compartments within the interior volume. The magnetic interior compartments have magnetic surfaces suitable for attaching a magnetic toy character and other magnetic toy models. The three-dimensional magnetic surfaces further include interior-facing indicia depicting a scene or imagery.
