The present invention includes a touchscreen; a wireless communication device configured to communicate with an external terminal; a band configured to be worn on a user; a sensing device configured to sense movement of a physical object having the mobile terminal provided thereon; and a controller to detect a gesture based on the sensed movement, and to perform a prescribed function with respect to the external terminal based on the detected gesture.
