A control unit is configured to control to sense a user action requesting an integrated message display, access the message data from a storing device in response to the user action, determine a transmission time or a transmitting time of the accessed message data, determine an area to be turned on among a screen area in which the accessed message data to be displayed based on the determined transmission time or the determined transmitting time, display the accessed message data in a screen of the electronic device according to a result of the determination of the area.
