More particularly, the present invention relates to a method for transmitting a sounding reference signal and to an apparatus for said method, wherein the method comprising the following steps: receiving sounding reference signal parameters; allocating a wireless resource using the sounding reference signal parameters; and transmitting a sounding reference signal via the wireless resource, wherein said sounding reference signal is transmitted using a portion of a period of a single carrier-frequency division multiple access (SC-FDMA) symbol.
