Interceptors, which allow the liquid to pass and consequently to be sprayed outwards only when the obturator has moved by a given amount, moving away from the nozzle and forming a predetermined chamber about the nozzle, are provided in the passage for the liquid to the nozzle. The uniformity of the fan of the jet of liquid within the course of each operating cycle of the pump and its constancy in the different cycles is thus ensured.
