Abstract:
A high energy cell employing a light metal anode and a cathode, the active material of which is a semi-conductive organic charge transfer complex. In assembly of the cell direct contact of the anode and cathode promotes formation in situ on the anode of a high resistance ionically conductive film which functions as a sefl-adjusting cell separator.
