Abstract:
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive configuration information indicating a frequency division multiplexing (FDM) parameter associated with a random access procedure. The UE may transmit a Message 1 (Msg1) or a Message A (MsgA) on one or more resources in accordance with the configuration information and based at least in part on the one or more resources having a valid status, wherein at least one of the FDM parameter or the valid status is based at least in part on the random access procedure utilizing a narrowband channel bandwidth.
