The engagement configuration allows me panel to swing freely between open and closed positions. in the closed position, the flange (24) is brought into facing relation with the ledge (22) such that force directed to displace the panel (18) within the plane of closure away from the hinge jamb (12) acts to bring the flange into engagement with the ledge.
