Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, are provided for allowing cell access. In one aspect there is provided a method, which may include determining, by a user equipment whether a cell allows a communication type, wherein the determining is based on at least one of a scheduling information included in a first type of broadcast message received by the user equipment or a receipt of a second type of broadcast message by the user equipment; and initiating, by the user equipment based on at least the determining, a connection to cell, when at least one of the scheduling information or the second type of broadcast message indicates the communication type is allowed in the cell.
