Abstract:
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station via a system information block (SIB), a random access configuration associated with aerial UEs, wherein the random access configuration indicates one or more aerial UE specific parameters. The UE may transmit, to the base station, a random access message during a random access procedure based at least in part on the one or more aerial UE specific parameters indicated in the random access configuration associated with aerial UEs.
