The automated chat conversation platform includes extensible chat interfaces useable for chat session communication with a plurality of third party communication tools, and is designed to be automatically scalable according to a number of chat sessions in existence concurrently. The automated chat conversation platform identifies chat sessions in which user intervention may be important, and allows for selective intervention by user agents.
