In particular, the integrated payment and messaging system allows users to send and receive electronic payments as well as exchange messages. Additional implementations involve facilitating payment transaction by inferring payment events. Still further implementations involve facilitating payment transactions between groups of users. In addition to the foregoing, one or more implementations allow a user to initiate payment transactions without first providing a payment credential.
