The invention provides a method and experiment device for analyzing and detecting the environmental adaptation property of a flaky oil absorption material. The device comprises a water tank and an electronic scale weighing system, a PH value detection system, a temperature control system, an electric conductivity (EC) detection system, a wave generation system, a flow generation system and a data collection system which are arranged inside and outside the water tank; the electronic scale weighing system, the PH value detection system, the temperature control system, the electric conductivity (EC) detection system, the wave generation system and the flow generation system are all connected with the data collection system. According to the method and experiment device, by simulating changes of environmental factors such as reality waves, water flow, a PH value, the temperature and the electric conductivity (EC), the environmental adaptation property of the flaky oil absorption material is detected, and influences of the environmental condition changes on the oil absorption property of the flaky oil absorption material are recorded in real time.
