The invention provides a water quenching time correction method at different initial water temperatures. The method comprises the following concrete steps: (1) determining a water quenching technology or a water-air alternative quenching technology at a standard temperature; (2) determining a correction coefficient of the water quenching time, wherein the correction coefficient changes along with a change of the initial water temperature; (3) calculating the corrected water quenching time according to the formula, t[correction]=K*t[standard]; (4) executing quenching process according to the corrected technology; (5) carrying out performance detection and statistical estimation on the product processed according to the corrected quenching technology, and then correcting the temperature correction coefficient according to the estimation result. The water quenching time correction method at different initial water temperatures disclosed by the invention has important significance on avoidance of water quenching cracking and reduction of product performance fluctuation.
