摘要： An illustrative interactive content provider system transmits a live video stream to an interactive content player device, and, during the transmitting of the live video stream, provides an executable data object to the interactive content player device. The executable data object includes an interactive content instance configured to be presented within a 3D virtual playing area that bounds at least one virtual object of the interactive content instance. The interactive content provider system directs the interactive content player device to execute the executable data object by overlaying the 3D virtual playing area of the interactive content instance onto a presentation of the live video stream. Corresponding methods and systems are disclosed for both the interactive content provider system and the interactive content player device.

摘要： This present application relates to delivery of data content across a mesh network of proxy servers based on network context. In some embodiments, optimal paths for delivering the application or data content are computed and selected dynamically based upon context of network traffic. In some embodiments, large data content, such as video content, is segmented dynamically based on network context to reduce delay between a request for the video content by a client device and start of playback of the requested video content at the client device. In some embodiments, a server determines a segmentation profile for segmenting the video content into a plurality of video segments each having a segment size determined based on link performance metrics, generates a manifest file referencing the plurality of video segments in a temporal order and provide the manifest file to a client device.

摘要： A media presentation and distribution system (MPDS) that handles rules-based presentation of non-programming media items, receives a user request (which includes user parameters) for delivery of programming media content at a first client device and transmits a media stream that includes the programming media content with a plurality of identifiers present with the programming media content. The MPDS further receives a request that includes one or more user preferences from the first client device, based on a detection of the plurality of identifiers. The MPDS further determines a set of non-programming media items for delivery to the first client device. The MPDS further controls presentation of a part of the media stream on a second client device that is paired with the first client device based on a movement of the second client device in a communication range of the second client device with the first client device.
