摘要: An electric machine includes a stator and a rotor energizable by magnetic fields produced by the stator when receiving a stator current to produce relative motion between the rotor and the stator. A controller is configured to send the stator current through the stator at a current angle measured from the closest one of a pole of the rotor, determine a desired operational output of the electric machine, and determine a desired rotor motion corresponding to the desired operational output of the electric machine. The controller is further configured to calculate a vector control modulation applied to the stator that elicits the desired rotor motion, and adjust the current angle of the stator current based on the vector control modulation to cause the rotor to perform the desired rotor motion and achieve the desired operational output of the electric machine.

摘要: Provided is a testing apparatus for an active current control-type non-contact superconductive exciter having a hybrid magnet installed therein, and a high-temperature superconductive rotating machine using same. Provided is principally characterized by having a hybrid magnet, in a module form, in which a permanent magnet, a DC electromagnet and an AC electromagnet are used together, wherein the hybrid magnet is set in a plurality along the circumferential direction of a ring-shaped iron stator, is formed to correspond to the outer side of a rotor, having a high-temperature superconductive tape (or a second-generation high-temperature superconductive wire), of a non-contact superconductive exciter, and thus enables a selected operation (charging, discharging and the like) before and after rotation of a driving motor.

摘要: A synchronous machine having a hybrid rotor excitation. The synchronous machine includes a rotor having a plurality of permanent magnets and electromagnets embedded within a rotor body. The permanent magnets produces a constant magnet field having a magnetic axis along a direct axis (D-axis). The electromagnets produces a variable magnetic field along a magnetic axis offset from the D-axis, preferable substantially orthogonal to the D-axis. The plurality of permanent magnets are separated from the electromagnets by a rotor air-gap. The plurality of permanent magnets includes inner pairs and outer pairs of permanent magnets nested in a V-shaped configuration. In another embodiment, the outer pairs of permanent magnets are replaced with outer radius electromagnets.

摘要: An electric machine includes a stator and a rotor. The rotor includes stacked laminations forming a rotor core. The rotor rotates relative to the stator about a central axis. The rotor core has an outer diameter. Each lamination includes a plurality of magnet slots. Each magnet slot includes a ferrite permanent magnet located therein, adjacent pairs of the ferrite permanent magnets defining a number of poles. Each of the laminations includes a plurality of non-circular rotor bar apertures spaced about the central axis of the rotor and disposed adjacent to and radially inward of the rotor outer diameter. A non-cylindrical rotor bar is disposed in each respective of the plurality of rotor bar apertures. The rotor bars are formed of a conductive material, wherein at least some of the plurality of rotor bars collectively form a rotor bar cage.

摘要: A planar drive system comprises a stator and a rotor. The stator comprises a plurality of stator conductors. The rotor comprises a magnet device comprising at least one rotor magnet. The stator is configured to energize the stator conductors. A magnetic interaction can be produced between energized stator conductors of the stator and the magnet device of the rotor in order to drive the rotor. The stator is configured to carry out the energizing of the stator conductors by a current control based on a pulse-width modulation. Due to the current control, a ripple current in energized stator conductors of the stator and thereby an alternating magnetic field can be generated. The rotor comprises at least one rotor coil in which an alternating voltage can be induced due to the alternating magnetic field.

摘要: A driving and resistance control system for a permanent-magnet synchronous motor is disclosed. A control device includes a processing unit, a motor driving circuit, a resistance controller, and an interlock switch. In a first operation mode, the interlock switch makes the motor driving circuit and the permanent-magnet synchronous motor open-circuiting, and connecting stator windings of the permanent-magnet synchronous motor to the resistance controller, and under this condition, the external rotor of the permanent-magnet synchronous motor is rotated by spinning of a flywheel, so that the permanent-magnet synchronous motor is operating in a generator mode to generate a resisting force to the flywheel by mesas of a resistance generation device. In a second operation mode, the interlock switch makes the motor driving circuit and the permanent-magnet synchronous motor closed-circuiting and cutting off control of the resistance controller, and electrical energy is supplied from the power supply circuit to the permanent-magnet synchronous motor, so as to make the permanent-magnet synchronous motor operating in a motor mode to induce an acceleration on the external rotor.

A utilization of inner space of the motor rotor can be improved, the performance of the motor is improved, and the costs of the motor are reduced.
