摘要: A multiple perforation plate for fuel cell separators includes virtual flow path hole central lines spaced apart from each other at a constant interval in a length direction corresponding to a flow direction of reaction gas and formed in a width direction perpendicular to the flow direction of the reaction gas, a plurality of flow path holes formed at a constant interval on the flow path hole central lines in the width direction, and expansion parts formed at both sides of a middle point of each of the flow path holes in the width direction so as to have a greater width in the length direction than that of other points of each of the flow path holes.

摘要: A fuel cell is provided with: a membrane electrode assembly (MEA); and a cathode-side separator assembled to the MEA, the cathode-side separator including first passages on a first surface of the cathode-side separator on a side closer to the MEA, and second passages on a second surface of the cathode-side separator on an opposite side, the first and second passages allowing oxidant gas to flow through the first and second passages, respectively. The first passages include first recessed portions on the first surface so as to extend from one end of the cathode-side separator to the other end, the second passages include second recessed portions on the second surface so as to extend from the one end to the other end and to be arranged alternately with the first recessed portions, and a penetration hole on a bottom face of the second recessed portion penetrating through the cathode-side separator.

摘要: A coolant flow field of a fuel cell stack includes a power-generation-portion-cooling flow path including a portion overlapping a power generation section of a membrane electrode assembly, a bypass flow path provided on outer peripheries of separators, a main supply flow path extending from a coolant supply passage through the bypass flow path and communicating with the power-generation-portion-cooling flow path, and a bubble release flow path extending from an upper portion of the coolant supply passage in the gravity direction toward the bypass flow path and communicating with the bypass flow path, wherein the bubble release flow path extends upward in the gravity direction above the coolant supply passage.

摘要: A bipolar plate assembly includes a first frame member, a second frame member, and a membrane electrode assembly. The first frame member has a first side and a second side. The first side has a first side protuberance. The second frame member includes a first side and a second side. The second side has a second side recess. The membrane electrode assembly has an anode plate and a cathode plate. A portion of the membrane electrode assembly is disposed between the first frame member and the second frame member. The portion of the membrane electrode assembly has a juxtaposition of the anode plate and the cathode plate. The first side protuberance of the first frame member deforms the portion of the membrane electrode assembly into the second side recess of the second frame member.

摘要: A bipolar plate for a fuel cell stack of a fuel cell system is described, having at least one main duct portion, which is designed for feeding a fluid (R1, R2, K); a plurality of inflow duct portions that branch off the main duct portion; a plurality of distribution duct portions fluidically connected to the inflow duct portions. The inflow duct portions are arranged along at least a part of the circumferential contour of the main duct portion such that each inflow duct portion, with regard to an imaginary orthogonal, in a respective connecting region of the inflow duct portion and main duct portion, to the circumferential contour at that location, is inclined with respect to this orthogonal such that, between the orthogonal and an inflow duct axis, an angle of incidence is formed, wherein, on the basis of the inclined arrangement of the inflow duct portions, a swirling flow for the fluid flowing in is able to be generated in the main duct portion.
