摘要: A compressed stranded conductor includes an inner layer strand having conductive wires which are twisted together, and an outer layer strand having conductive wires which are arranged around an outer periphery of the inner layer strand and are twisted together. The inner layer strand and the outer layer strand are compressed. An inner layer area reduction rate of one conductive wire of the inner layer strand is 29% or more and 32% or less. An outer layer area reduction rate of one conductive wire of the outer layer strand is 6% or more and 11% or less. A difference between the inner layer area reduction rate and the outer layer area reduction rate is 19% or more and 25% or less.

摘要: A covered electric wire comprises an insulating coating layer on the outer side of a conductor. The conductor comprises a copper alloy consisting of: not less than 0.05% by mass and not more than 2.0% by mass of Fe; not less than 0.02% by mass and not more than 1.0% by mass of Ti; not less than 0% by mass and not more than 0.6% by mass of Mg; and the balance being Cu and impurities. The covered electric wire is a stranded wire comprising a plurality of copper alloy wires stranded together. The plurality of copper alloy wires each have a work hardening coefficient of not less than 0.1 and a wire diameter of not more than 0.5 mm.

摘要: A method for manufacturing an aluminum wire is provided. The aluminum wire includes an inner-layer conductor having one or a plurality of inner-layer alloy wires including aluminum and an outer-layer conductor having a plurality of outer-layer alloy wires including aluminum and provided on the inner-layer conductor. The method includes an outer-layer twisting step of twisting, over the inner-layer conductor, the outer-layer alloy wires provided on the inner-layer conductor, and an outer-layer rotational compression step of compressing the outer-layer alloy wires twisted in the outer-layer twisting step while being rotated in the same direction as the direction of the twisting in the outer-layer twisting step.

摘要: An electric wire conductor is excellent in space saving and flexibility and is less likely to concentrate a load on specific elemental wires, and a covered electric wire and a wire harness contain the electric wire conductor. The electric wire conductor contains a wire strand containing a plurality of elemental wires twisted together. The wire strand has a sector-shaped part in which a cross-section intersecting an axial direction of the wire strand contains either a single edge or two edges touching each other at an apex, and an outward curve connecting the ends of the single edge or the two edges. In the sector-shaped part, the elemental wires having deformation ratios from a circle lower at an outer peripheral part facing an outer periphery of the sector-shaped part than at a center part of the sector-shaped part located inside the outer peripheral part in the cross-section intersecting the axial direction.

摘要: A composite stranded wire conductor includes a core bunched strand wire, first bunched strand wires mainly wound at a first main twist pitch around the core bunched strand wire, and second bunched strand wires wound at a second main twist pitch around first bunched strand wires. In the core bunched strand wire, metal wires are primary twisted in a first direction. In each of the first bunched strand wires, metal wires are primary twisted in a second direction opposite to the first direction. In each of the second bunched strand wires, metal wires are primary twisted in the first direction. A pitch ratio obtained by dividing the second main twist pitch by the first main twist pitch is 1.00 or more and 2.44 or less.
