    摘要: A spreadsheet user interface shows polymorphic records. The records include global fields, discriminator fields, and context-sensitive fields. A context-sensitive field is available or unavailable dependent on a discriminator field value. Record fields associate with spreadsheet columns, regardless of field availability. User confusion is prevented by marking a record's unavailable context-sensitive fields as unavailable and visually distinguishing them from available fields. A user-requested operation spanning multiple rows and columns is supported by testing whether a source cell and source data is available, a destination cell is available, and skipping the operation for those records whose source and/or destination cell is required but unavailable. An embodiment supports interfacing with a single record in a spreadsheet form by applying global form templates associated with global fields, and context-dependent form templates associated with specific discriminator field values.

    摘要: Users of a database management engine may generate fillable digital documents by mapping interface elements onto form documents. When a user maps interface elements onto a form document, the user may accidentally overlap two or more interface elements. To rectify this, the database management engine may modify the position of one of interface elements based on a set of positioning rules. In addition, the database management engine may identify and suggest mappings to users based on similar documents that have been previously mapped. The database management engine identifies similar documents using information about the document, the user, and the mapping itself. The mapping associated with the most similar document may be provided to the user as a suggested mapping. The database management engine converts the form document and finalized mapping into a fillable digital document. The fillable digital document is sent to recipients, who complete the fillable digital document.

Based in part on the technical document and the metadata definitions, the uniform hierarchical view may be generated. The uniform hierarchical view may be populated with at least a subset of the technical data elements from the technical document. Once generated, the uniform hierarchical view may be displayed.

    摘要: A blank template form generation method and system may employ synthetically generated blank template forms, differing from each other in one or more respects, to train a neural network to recognize relevant differences between otherwise similar forms, including types and locations of keywords and potential locations of values corresponding to the keywords. In an embodiment, filled or partly filled forms as well as blank template forms may be used later in training. Forms are input in pairs to identify differences between the two. Depending on the differences, weights of a neural network may be adjusted. After training, when a form is input into the system, whether the form is filled or blank, a blank template may be generated for future use.
