    摘要: A multifunctional rotating control device (RCD) includes an RCD assembly, a multi-way cross, and choke control modules. The RCD assembly includes a body and a rotating sealing assembly, where a bore through hole, two side outlets, and a straight-through outlet are formed in the body. The rotating sealing assembly is provided in the bore through hole, a straight-through cut-off valve is provided at the straight-through outlet, and there are two choke control modules. The two choke control modules are respectively connected to the two side outlets and the multi-way cross, and a side choke extends upward in a direction of the bore through hole. The two choke control modules are integrated onto the RCD assembly, and extend upward in the direction of the bore through hole.

    摘要: A technique facilitates deployment and use of a seal rotating system without retrieving the running tool prior to a drilling operation. The running tool remains with the drill string after deployment of the seal rotating system which saves substantial time by avoiding retrieval of the running tool prior to conducting the drilling operation. According to an embodiment, a seal rotating system is mounted to the running tool and the running tool is connected into a drill string. The running tool is used to position the seal rotating system in a rotating control device housing which may be positioned along, for example, a riser. The running tool is then released from the seal rotating system and is moved downhole as part of the drill string to enable performance of a borehole drilling operation without removing the running tool.

    摘要: What is provided is a method and apparatus wherein a rotating and reciprocating swivel of adjustable stroke length and shearable by ram blow out preventers can be detachably connected to an annular blowout preventer thereby separating the lower wellbore from the riser. In one embodiment the mandrel of the swivel extends through a sleeve/housing. The sleeve/housing has a wiping arrangement of improved configuration that wipes debris from the mandrel, preventing entry of the debris into the sleeve/housing. Ports enable discharge of the removed debris from the area of the sleeve/housing.
