A reusable mailer bag includes front, rear, first side, second side, and bottom panels which include interior surfaces that define a carrying volume that has an opening which is opposite the bottom panel. The mailer bag also includes a flap and a first side extension. The flap is configured to extend across the opening to close the carrying volume during shipping. The flap includes a first end portion that is attached to the rear panel and a second end portion that is configured to secure to the front panel. The first side extension extends from a first edge of the second end portion of the flap that is adjacent the first side panel. The first side extension is configured to extend around the first side panel and to secure to the rear panel when the second end portion is secured to the front panel.

Automation-compatible reusable envelopes are embedded in standard envelope layouts, having a top flap outgoing envelope and an opposing bottom return seal flap. The return flap is formed by a person removing a unique flared tear strip that removes undesirable outgoing postal codes, and also forms a tapered return seal flap. The unique flare at each end of the tear strip is formed with lines of weakness that primarily extend parallel to the long bottom edge of the envelope, but that also wrap from the face across the bottom edge and then to the side edge of the envelope. A security tab and/or bridge structure is formed by removing a tear strip on the envelope, allowing access into the envelope.

A Mailer Pouch for Data Discs. The pouch qualifies for USPS bulk mailing rates. The mailer is formed from a single piece of card stock or paper that is folded twice. Adhesive is applied along opposing edges and to form a disc pocket in the bottom. In order to protect against tampering, as well as making opening the mailer easier, the pouch has a tab attached to a tear strip embedded within the pouch. Display surfaces are provided on the front and rear portions of the finished mailer pouch, as well as on the inner surface of the flap.

The Open Easy Envelope is a very easy to use system. The Open Easy Envelope has a difference between the other inventions invented because it can be used on any type of Envelope, added just a new string feature to the envelope creating machine. A nylon string is attached about 0.5 mm higher then the fold line with a thin layer of glue. On each comer of the envelope are very small knots very close to the edge. As the String is pulled it opens the envelope easily or the string can be without a knot extending out of the envelope just a little bit. Also there will be a dotted line on the flap just about 2 mm below the fold horizontally. As the dotted lines are ripped just a little the string is left in the hands. The reason the string is put 0.5 mm higher then the fold line is because when the envelope is folded the string does not get in the way. The same processes can be used on the bottom and right sides of the envelope.

An envelope formed from a single sheet of paper includes a front portion, a top flap, two lateral side flaps, a bottom flap, a top folding edge, two lateral side folding edges, and a bottom folding edge, the lateral side flaps overlapping and adhering to the bottom flap to form the back portion of the envelope. The top flap will adhere to the back portion after contents of interest are inserted into the envelope. The envelope further includes an opening device in the form of a piece of thin line disposed inside the envelope. The thin line loosely extends along one of the folding edges with its first end attached to one spot near one end of that folding edge and its opposite second end attached to an anchor portion on the outermost flap near the other end of that folding edge. The anchor portion does not adhere to any other flap.

A blank for a container and the container afford a structure wherein the adhesive closure for the container also forms a tear strip to allow easy opening of the envelope once it is sealed.

A device for opening an envelope which comprises a thread adhesively attached to the inside surface of the envelope, and non-tearable strips disposed on opposite sides of the thread and adhesively attached to the outside surface of the envelope, the thread and the strips being disposed substantially parallel to each other whereby when the thread is freed from the envelope and pulled away from the envelope, the envelope can be readily opened with a straight tear line which extends along the surface of the envelope between the non tearable strips.

A rectangular mailing envelope is formed with perforations running transversely, that is, in the direction of the width of the envelope, adjacent to one end to define a pull tab. Removal of this pull tab provides a large access opening for easy retrieval of a loose insert which may comprise a single message on a paper or a return envelope together with other documents. By providing transverse perforations to define the tab, the envelopes can be mass-produced at high speeds by moving plies of paper in the direction of the width of the envelopes, the perforated paths running in the direction of movement of the plies so that the perforations can be formed while the plies are in motion.
