摘要: A booklet making apparatus includes a heat-and-pressure bonding portion including a pressurizing member, a receiving member, a moving portion configured to move the pressurizing member, and a heating portion configured to heat the pressurizing member. The booklet making apparatus is configured to nip, heat, and pressurize, between the pressurizing member and the receiving member, a plurality of sheets on at least one of which an adhesive layer is formed, and thus make a booklet. The booklet making apparatus further includes an elastic member. A deformation amount of the elastic member is constant while the moving portion moves from a first position to a second position. In a case where the moving portion moves from the second position to a third position, the deformation amount of the elastic member increases in accordance with a movement amount the moving portion.

摘要: A bookbinding machine (100) is proposed. The bookbinding machine (100) comprises processing stations (205a-205e) for processing book blocks (215a-215d) and transport elements (210a-210d) for transporting the book blocks (215a-215d) across them. A plurality of endless conveyors (225a-225c) are arranged in a wrap-around succession, each carrying one or more conveying elements (305a1,305a2;305b;305c). A driving system (235-240) drives the endless conveyors (225a-225c) to cause each conveying element (305a1,305a2;305b;305c) in succession to engage a transport element (210a-210d), to convey the transport element (210a-0210d) along a transport path (220) for an active section of the corresponding endless conveyor (225a-225c) and then to disengage the transport element (210a-210d). A bookbinding plant comprising one or more of these bookbinding machines (100) is also proposed. Moreover, a corresponding method for operating a bookbinding machine (100), a computer program and a computer program product for implementing the method are proposed.

摘要: A medium processing apparatus includes a conveyor, a liquid applier, and a crimper. The conveyor conveys a medium. The liquid applier performs liquid application of applying liquid to a part of the medium conveyed by the conveyor, the medium being at least one medium. The crimper presses and deforms a bundle of media including the medium to which the liquid is applied by the liquid applier, to bind the bundle of media. The liquid applier adjusts an application amount of the liquid in the liquid application according to an environmental condition that is a factor that affects a binding strength with which the bundle of media is bound by pressing and deforming of the crimper.

摘要: A machine produces an adhesively bonded book block. The machine has a clamp chain equipped with spaced apart binder clamps, which are connected to a clamp opening system. The clamp opening system has a movable internal aid for a binder clamp and an external aid, which are operably connected together. The aids open clamping jaws of the binder clamp. At a loading location for the book block, the external aid is operated by a drive to execute pressing operation on the movable internal aid. The moveable internal aid achieves an opening of the clamping jaws depending on a thickness of the book block. A recoil force is established with the drive-related pressing operation, which is converted as a pressing force onto the book block in a running cycle.

摘要: A binding unit includes first and second movable bodies. The second movable body includes first and second shaft portions. A stapler is secured to the second movable body, and the second movable body is swingably supported with the stapler by the first movable body. A first groove includes a branch part between a middle area and one end area. A second groove branches off from the branch part and is parallel to the first groove. When in a first position, a movable guide portion guides the first shaft portion from the branch part to the second groove. When the first shaft portion moves to the second groove through the branch part, the movable guide portion swings from the first position to a second position. When the second shaft portion reaches the branch part, the movable guide portion in the second position guides the second shaft portion along the first groove.

摘要: The present invention is related to the field of diverse industrial techniques, where through the bookbinding of albums, classifiers, and printed, it allows implementing processes for making books combining various operations starting from simple sheets. In particular, the invention discloses a new method for book imposition, magazines, and similar, in print, for the graphic arts industry that seeks to organize the book pages to be collected in sheets. The method is characterized because it implies the structuration of a numerical matrix for the imposition of the pages on a sheet, considering the book page and printing machine size printing by groups of sheets and adding guiding flaps that allow better sheets identification.

摘要: An apparatus to facilitate the binding of sheets using heat activated adhesives, with the sheets having coatings that resist binding. A stack of sheets is abraded prior to binding, with the apparatus gripping the stack so that a stack end to be bound is exposed. An abrading head containing a plurality of reciprocating pins is positioned so that pins can be controlled to repeatedly strike the stack end along the length of the end. This action results in abrading the stack end thereby producing relatively long fibers from the coated sheets that absorb the binder strip adhesive thereby achieving a strong bind notwithstanding the adhesive-resistant coating.

摘要: A printing system includes a book body printing section including a book body printing machine and outputting book bodies sequentially, and a cover printing section including a cover printing machine and outputting covers sequentially. The book body printing machine and the cover printing machine respectively receive printing order data indicating a printing order with regard to a plurality of jobs from a print control apparatus, and perform printing in the printing order indicated by the printing order data. The print control apparatus generates the printing order data, so that an inserting order in unit of job to a bookbinding machine of the book bodies output from the book body printing section coincides with an inserting order in unit of job to the bookbinding machine of the covers output from the cover printing section.
