摘要： A reconfigurable brush includes an elongated brush head extending between brush-head first and second ends and a brush handle extending between handle proximate and distal ends. The first and second angular orientations are defined such that the brush-head second end is disposed, respectively, (i) rearwardly of the brush-head first end and the handle distal end and (ii) forwardly of the brush-head first end and the handle distal end. The axial first and second positions correspond to the handle being, respectively, (a) locked in one of the first and second angular orientations and (b) unlocked to allow rotation between the opposed first and second angular orientations.

摘要： A brush with bristles attached to multiple sides is designed to clean any gutter guard type that is manufactured today, including reverse curve type gutter guards. The brush has a main body of reverse-oriented bristles and accommodates an extension pole on the “reverse” side. When placed on top of the gutter guard, the brush can be pushed/pulled back and forth using the pole to dislodge any unwanted debris attached to the gutter guard's working surface. The use of the pole removes the need for a person to be on the roof when attempting to clean the gutter and/or gutter guard. With multiple bristle orientations, the brush can be used for other outdoor cleaning uses, such as house fixtures, structures, windows and so forth.

摘要： A shaft securing mechanism is provided that includes pins, bearings or other securing members that are biased inwardly at an angle with respect to the axis of the shaft being engaged by the mechanism. The angled orientation of the engagement of the pins with the shaft enables the pins to more securely hold the shaft relative to the handle without significant slop or play in the lateral or longitudinal directions. The mechanism also includes a tapered inner surface to increase the ease of alignment of the shaft with the mechanism, which allows the shaft to be engaged with the handle by only pressing and rotating the shaft into the mechanism within the handle.
