摘要: A duvet insert includes a plurality of filler compartments for receiving filler material, a first edge including a first number of coupling mechanisms, and a second edge opposing the first edge such that the plurality of filler compartments is positioned between the first edge and the second edge. The second edge includes a second number of coupling mechanisms different than the first number. At least one of the first number of coupling mechanisms or at least one of the second number of coupling mechanisms enables the duvet insert to be coupled to another duvet insert to form a combined duvet insert.

摘要: The present invention relates to a wearable blanket usable as a blanket, a towel, a wrap, and worn fashionably as a skirt. The front and back fabric panels are trapezoids in shape. Pockets are formed by pocket bags that are positioned between the front and back fabric layers and aligned with seams in the front panel allowing a person to insert their hands into the pocket bags when wearing the wearable blanket. A stretchable belt tab is stretchable, has a hook-and-loop surface portion, and is fastened along an edge of the wearable blanket. A belt receiver has a hook-and-loop portion and is fastened to the front fabric panel. The belt receiver fastens with the stretchable belt tab in a stretched orientation. The recoil force of the stretchable belt tab pulls the top edge of the wearable blanket snuggly around the waist or torso of the person wearing the wearable blanket.

摘要: A bedding system can include a combination sheet and comforter. A sheet can be removably affixed to a comforter. Connecting the sheet and the comforter can be accomplished by the use of buttons, hook and loop fastener, ribbon, cloth ties, or hooks. A top side of the sheet can include an array of buttons in columns and rows. An amount of buttons can be adjusted based on an intended size of the bedding system. The comforter can include a plurality of buttonholes, where each of the buttonholes on the comforter corresponds to one of the buttons of the sheet. It should be appreciated that each of the buttons and the buttonholes can be disposed in various patterns, arrangements, or arrays so long as the pattern of the buttons of the sheet corresponds to the pattern of the buttonholes of the comforter.

摘要: The embodiments described herein generally relate to a system and method for joining a detachable fabric sheet to a cover through the use of one or more corresponding fastening or temporary joining mechanisms located on the cover and fabric sheet. In an embodiment, the cover includes one or more mechanisms to align and/or secure a filling material to the cover, as well as one or more fastening or temporary joining mechanisms for attaching the detachable fabric sheet to the cover. Methods and systems are provided for detachably joining the fabric sheet to the cover, for creating a multi-layer unit of a cover and detachable sheets, as well as for aligning and securing the filler to the cover. A method is also provided for manufacturing the integrated bedding cover system.

摘要: A wearable blanket with a distributed weight system for providing gentle and soothing weight on an infant's body without excessive pressure with optional swaddling wings that are removably attached to the wearable blanket. The wearable blanket has an array of subpanels containing weight or pressure-inducing material that can be adjusted to provide evenly distributed weight throughout the front panel of the wearable garment or create a weight gradient to provide more focused weighted support to particular areas of the wearable blanket depending on the physical or medical need of the wearer. The subpanels are compartmentalized and separated from one another to prevent undesirable movement or accumulation of weighted material and may include individual pouches or containers to hold the weight or pressure-inducing material that allows for customization and adjustment of any of a number of the subpanels that constitute the distributed weight system.

摘要: A sleeping quilt includes an outer layer having an undrawn lateral width extending from a first longitudinal edge to an opposing second longitudinal edge and a drawcord having an undrawn lateral width. The drawcord being fixed to the outer layer at a first point and a second point laterally distal to the first point. Each of the first point and the second point is located a gap distance medially inward from the first longitudinal edge and the second longitudinal edge, respectively. The outer layer has a gatherable portion that is defined between the first point and the second point. A first undrawable portion is defined between the first point and the first longitudinal edge and a second undrawable portion is defined between the second point and the second longitudinal edge.

摘要: A cover for a cushioning element, such as a pillow, volume adjustable. The cover includes one or more gathering elements that can alter a length and a volume of the cover. Each gathering element may extend around an end of the cover (e.g., circumferentially, helically around a circumference of the cover, etc.). Each gathering element may enable adjustment of the length and volume of the cover in extremely small increments or even continuously (i.e., in micro adjustments). The length and volume of the cover may be adjusted in a manner that limits or prevents migration of a cushioning element (e.g., an infill material, etc.) within the cover. A cushion, such as a pillow, may include a volume-adjustable cover with a cushioning element therein. Methods for adjusting the manner in which a cushioning element supports, molds around, underfills, and/or backfills a load and its form are also disclosed.

摘要: A method for adjusting a cushioning element, such as a pillow, by adjusting a length and a volume of a cover of the pillow. The cover includes one or more gathering elements that can alter the length and the volume of the cover. Each gathering element may extend around an end of the cover. Each gathering element may enable adjustment of the length and volume of the cover in extremely small increments or even continuously (i.e., in micro adjustments). Micro-adjustment of the length and volume of the cover may enable adjustment of a position and/or an orientation of at least one endpoint of a closed kinematic chain of an individual's spine, which may provide control over a curvature of the spine.
