Abstract: A rubber band adapted for a wrist web shooter is provided. The rubber band comprises a rubber band body, and a rivet-like end for attaching to the wrist web shooter. Abstract: A toy gun having a pair of sides are joined together using a number of pins inserted through pin holes passing through the pair of sides. A trigger and a slide are sandwiched between the pair of sides and are secured therein. A pivot pin allows the trigger to be pulled rearwardly such that it presses against the slide, moving it reward as well. When this occurs, the slide moves out from between the two sides, pushing the elastic bands away from static notches located on the rear end of the sides. This causes the top-most elastic band to fire away from the gun, and the remaining elastic bands to be reseated upwardly into the next adjacent respective static notch. The elastic bands pull the trigger back into its original position, allowing for semi-automatic firing.

Abstract: The present invention is a toy projectile and launcher system. The lightweight projectile has an exterior surface symmetrically disposed about an imaginary longitudinal axis. The launcher has a holding cavity composed of three semi-flexible sides, two of which sides apply counter-acting forces to the surface of the projectile along the imaginary longitudinal axis. The launcher has a mechanism for applying a motive force perpendicular to the counter-acting force vectors and perpendicular to the projectile's imaginary longitudinal axis. When the motive force is applied to the projectile, the semi-flexible sides deform and return to pre-deformation positions, thereby launching the projectile into flight.

Abstract: A projectile for launching through the air comprises a body and one or more projecting members integral therewith extending outwardly a distance from the body, which can be hollow or solid. The projectile is formed from an elastomeric material capable of being stretched to energize the projectile for launching. The projecting members are positioned a distance apart from one another and include openings disposed therethrough at distal ends for engaging sections of a launching device. The launching device includes a handle with the sections extending outwardly therefrom to accommodate placement of the projectile openings thereagainst for retaining the projectile before and during launch. The projectile is launched from the device by pulling the body away from the launching device to energize the projectile, and then releasing the energized projectile, causing it to be propelled from the launching device into the air and towards a desired target.

Abstract: A toy for propelling soft spherical projectiles includes a projectile of material such as foamed plastic, and a hand held launcher. A tubular elastic member is anchored to the projectile and extends through the projectile and out of a surface of the projectile a sufficient distance to allow a user to grasp and stretch the elastic member. The launcher includes a hand grip and a seat against which the projectile is positioned, and an opening to the rear of the seat through which the elastic member extends. After positioning the projectile on the seat, a user pulls the elastic member rearward to stretch, then releases it to propel the projectile forward. The projectile may include a strip of adhering material such as a hook and loop fastener; a target with a complementary adhering material may be mounted on a wall or the launcher.

Abstract: A wooden stock has opposite elongated barrel and butt portions and an inclined central or joining section to resemble a standard carbine. The tip of the barrel end of the stock has a rearward-extending blind bore into which an end portion of a tubular elastic projectile is fitted. The projectile is bent abruptly upward and rearward along the top of the barrel to an upright trigger pin over which the rear end of the projectile is fitted. Trigger mechanism is effective to retract the pin so as to release the rear end of the projectile, thereby causing it to fly forward and separate from the tip of the barrel.
