    Abstract: A sheet conveying device includes a tray, a device body having a conveying route of a sheet and supporting the tray, a side guide supported by the tray to be movable in a first direction intersecting with a conveying direction of the sheet and contacting an end portion in the first direction of the sheet placed on the tray, a cover rotatable with respect to the device body and covering the conveying route, and a lock lever locking the cover to the device body and provided in a position overlapping the side guide in a second direction intersecting with the conveying direction and the first direction. The lock lever is rotatable between a lock position where the cover is locked and a release position where the cover is released. The side guide includes a first notched portion facing a rotation track of the lock lever with a gap.

    Abstract: A post-processing apparatus includes a movable portion and an opposing portion that are arranged to be opposite to each other with a conveyance path through which a sheet is conveyed interposed between the movable portion and the opposing portion, and a restricting member that has a holding surface including an abutment surface against which a sheet abuts, is capable of changing a posture between a first posture in which the holding surface closes the conveyance path and a second posture in which a clearance is formed in at least part of the conveyance path and is attached to a side where the opposing portion is located with respect to the conveyance path, wherein the movable portion processes a sheet positioned at the abutment surface by the restricting member having the first posture by moving toward the opposing portion.

    Abstract: A post-processing apparatus performs post-processing on a paper sheet conveyed from a previous stage side, and includes: a corrector that performs bend correction on the paper sheet, in accordance with one of a plurality of bend correction methods; a post-processor that performs the post-processing on the paper sheet subjected to the bend correction performed by the corrector; and a hardware processor that selects one of the plurality of bend correction methods, on the basis of a bend correction accuracy corresponding to a product to be created by the post-processing being performed by the post-processor, and a productivity of the product, wherein from the plurality of bend correction methods, the hardware processor selects a bend correction method that reduces a difference between a post-processing time required for the post-processor to perform the post-processing and a correction time required for the corrector to perform the bend correction on the paper sheet.

The driver is spaced from the upstream part of the guide a second distance greater than the first distance such that a media sheet driven into the blocker will buckle between the driver and the guide before it will buckle between the guide and the blocker.

    Abstract: A sheet post-processing device includes: an alignment member which aligns a sheet bundle on a stacking tray; and a stapler which performs binding processing on a rear end of the sheet bundle. The stapler includes: a first stapler which moves along the rear end of a first sheet bundle and performs the binding processing on a plurality of positions at the rear end of the first sheet bundle; and a second stapler which performs, at one part of an end portion of the rear end on one side, binding processing different from the first stapler. The alignment member includes: a first alignment member and a second alignment member which align the sheet bundle in a first stacking position; and a third alignment member which is fixed to a position corresponding to the second stapler and which aligns the sheet bundle in a second stacking position with the first alignment member.

    Abstract: A conveyance apparatus that conveys a sheet by passing the sheet through a nip formed between a first conveyance roller and a second conveyance roller contacting each other. The conveyance apparatus includes a first gate member, a second gate member, and a third gate member into which a rotational shaft of the first conveyance roller is loosely inserted, the first and second gate members being disposed at a predefined interval, the third gate member being disposed between the first and second gate members. The first, second, and third gate members each include a portion protruding radially outwards, and the protruding portions are positioned on a conveyance path during no sheet conveyance, the protruding portion of the third gate member being positioned upstream of the protruding portions of the first and second gate members in a conveyance direction.
