Abstract: The present invention is a rack device designed to improve the cleaning process of surgical instruments by efficiently holding many surgical instruments at once. The rack is designed to hold surgical instruments by their finger rings in an open configuration for ease of cleaning the instrument. The racks include end stops on each arm allowing the rack to be turned upside down without the instruments sliding off for better access to the instrument's jaws during manual cand ultrasonic cleaning. The open configuration also allows for easier application of lubricants to the instruments. The rack is made of connected members that form a stable base and instrument holding arms. The rack incorporates a rack holder with a handle and a mount opening that allows the entire rack to be easily transported, placed into a cleaning device, hung up to dry, sprayed with products and easily located when packing surgical kits.

Abstract: An improved urine collection bag assembly is presented. The improved urine collection bag assembly of the present invention features a one-way flow control valve to prevent the backflow of urine into a urinary catheter and subsequently, into a patient's bladder. Abstract: A storage apparatus is provided for storage of elongate articles in a vertical orientation, such as for storage of flexible esophageal dilators. The storage apparatus includes a gripping element of flexible material supported at a support frame. The gripping element includes receiving slots or apertures aligned with the spaced holes in the rigid panel. The support frame may include a rigid support panel with a pattern of spaced holes corresponding to respective ones of the receiving apertures of the gripping element. The gripping element grips and holds elongate articles at respective receiving apertures to suspend the articles in a vertical orientation. The elongate articles are retained in the gripping element until a user exerts a removal force on the article to retrieve it from the storage apparatus. The support frame may be disposed inside of a container, such as a cabinet or drawer.

Abstract: A sterilization cabinet, comprising a top panel, at least two side panels, and a floor panel forming a part of a chamber of the sterilization cabinet; at least one door connected to at least one of the at least two side panels of the sterilization cabinet; a vent formed in at least one of the two side panels; at least one first filter covering the vent and a filter cover configured to hold the first filter against the vent; a drain positioned in the floor panel, wherein the floor panel has a slope configured to cause condensate within the chamber to flow into the drain and wherein the drain is the only outlet for the condensate along the floor panel; and a second filter covering the drain such that condensate flowing into the drain passes through the second filter.
