    Abstract: [Problem]
    This disclosure solves a problem with the service continuity related to inter system change (e.g. EPS and 5GS intersystem change). This disclosure makes it possible to reduce the number of the interactions with the NSACF during the inter system change.
    [Solution]
    A method of an apparatus related to Session Management Function (SMF) includes sending, to an Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF) apparatus, a first message. The first message includes information indicating that the apparatus interacted with a Network Slice Admission Control Function (NSACF) apparatus for Network Slice Admission Control (NSAC). The method includes retaining a second message for the NSAC to be sent to the NSACF in a case where the first message includes the information.

    Abstract: A method of performing intersystem change without N26 interface supported or not supported when a UE is registered to the same or different networks over 3GPP and non-3GPP accesses is proposed. UE registers to one or more PLMN/SNPN over 3GPP access and non-3GPP access. UE receives a REGISTRATION ACCEPT message over 3GPP access, which carries a first 5GS network feature support IE, which indicates that interworking without N26 interface not supported. UE also receives a REGISTRATION ACCEPT message over non-3GPP access, which carries a second 5GS network feature support IE, which indicates that interworking without N26 interface supported. UE ignores the second indication received over non-3GPP access and considers that N26 interface is supported for interworking. As a result, after intersystem change from 5G to 4G, UE triggers a TAU procedure over LTE in 4G EPS.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to maintaining a network connection while moving from location to location as between different technologies such as from the 2G/3G to the 5G standard, and vice versa. A mobility management entity (MME), e.g., on a 4G platform, controls the transfers of sessions from the 4G platform to the 2G/3G platform when the and/or from the 4G platform to the 5G platform. The MME classifies different sessions on the UE as anchored in GGSN, PGW or SMF. When needed, the MME is then able to transfer the sessions that are transferrable and to terminate the ones that cannot be transferred. By terminating the ones that cannot be transferred, the device can begin reestablishing the connection without waiting, e.g., without waiting for the timeout failure to occur.

    Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to managing access to 5G cellular baseband resources for 5G-capable wireless devices. A 5G-capable wireless device of an MNO, while connected to or camped on a legacy 4G LTE cell of the MNO and not engaged in a 4G only LTE service, determines whether an NSA 5G cell of another MNO satisfies performance criteria before measuring and/or sending measurement data for an NSA 4G LTE anchor cell associated with the NSA 5G cell to a wireless network. Refraining from measuring and/or sending measurement data under certain conditions causes the 5G-capable wireless device of the MNO to remain connected to or camped on the legacy 4G LTE cell of the MNO rather than reselecting or handing over to the NSA 4G LTE cell of another MNO. The 5G-capable wireless device also maintains a database of information for valid NSA 4G LTE cells to which to reselect/handover.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a wireless communication system cooperation method appropriate for cooperation between a mobile communication system and a wireless LAN system involving priority control. In a communication area of 5G, a 5QI representing communication quality is allocated to a service data flow, and the communication of the service data flow is performed via a base station so that the communication quality is realized. A priority condition corresponding to 5QI is set for a frequency resource of the wireless LAN (step 100). When the wireless terminal UE to be protected is handed over to the wireless LAN (step 102), a priority condition set based on 5QI is instructed to the access point (step 106). Thereafter, the access point performs communication of the service data flow according to the priority condition.
