Abstract: A continuous decontamination-and-sterilization device possessing high efficiency, reliability, and safety of operation to treat external surfaces of a package that is conveyed to a sterile working chamber. A decontamination chamber decontaminates (with a decontamination agent) bottom and lateral external surfaces of the package conveyed by a first conveyance, with an upper surface seal portion of the package being sealed. An aeration chamber removes residue of decontamination agent from an external surface of the package while the package is conveyed by a second conveyance means. A sterilization chamber sterilizes the upper surface seal portion of the package by irradiating electron beams as the package is conveyed by a third conveyance means, with the bottom or lateral external surface of the package being supported. The first conveyance means includes a sealing means by an adsorbing function to adsorb and capture the upper surface seal portion so as to seal the same and convey the package, with the bottom and lateral external surface portions of the package being open.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a brush box that includes a housing, a gear system (100) configured inside the housing. The gear system (100) includes a first gear (102) having first teeth configured on an inner side of the first gear (102). Second gear (104) configured inside the first gear (102), the second gear (104) includes second teeth that engages with the first teeth such that the first gear (102) configured to rotate about its axis when the at least one second gear (104) moves on the inner side of the first gear (102). Distributing means (106) operatively coupled to the second gear (104). The movement of the second gear (104) circumferentially on the inner side of the first gear (102) enables spirographic movement of the distributing means (106) around a centre of the first gear (102).

Abstract: A cup-shaped reusable plastic container has an open end which has a sealing edge with a sealing surface, the sealing surface being configured such that the sealing surface is connectable with a first sealing foil. The container jacket has a wall thickness from 0.5 mm to 4.0 mm. The sealing edge has a sealing edge thickness which extends in the axial direction of the longitudinal axis, and the sealing edge thickness is from 0.8 mm and 4.0 mm. The sealing surface is configured such that the sealing surface can be connected to a further sealing foil after removal of the first sealing foil from the sealing surface of the sealing edge, and following cleaning of the reusable plastic container. Also, a method reprocesses a cup-shaped reusable plastic container.

Abstract: A valve for providing pulses of aseptic air to a web of packaging material is provided. The valve comprises a rotatable valve shaft having an inlet portion with a circular cross-section, wherein the inlet portion is provided with a radial slot being connected to an axial cavity of the valve shaft. The valve further comprises a valve member comprising a curved end being adapted to fit with an exterior surface of the inlet portion of the valve shaft during rotation of the valve shaft, and a fluid channel extending through the valve member such that when the valve shaft is rotated to a position where the radial slot of the inlet portion is aligned with the fluid channel of the valve member, air can flow through the valve via the valve member and the valve shaft.

Abstract: Provided is a production line for treatments of container products having an upstream conveyor loaded with products into a multi-lane flow, moving the products along a stream direction through successive treatment workstations with one comprising a multi-lane treatment module along the upstream conveyor, a distribution surface located at an end of the upstream conveyor feeding the distribution surface with a multi-lane flow of products, a downstream conveyor located at an output of the distribution surface, transversally moving the products along a single-lane flow, a transfer means longitudinally transferring relative a row of the products from the distribution surface to the transversal downstream conveyor, wherein the distribution surface is orientated longitudinally along the stream direction and is aligned with the upstream conveyor. Also provided is a conveying device, a production method, and use of a distribution surface for converting a multi-lane flow of products into at a single-lane flow of products.
