摘要: Conductor identification may be provided. A first sleeve may be placed around a first conductor and a second sleeve around a second conductor. Next, a first tag may be placed on the first conductor and a second tag on the second conductor. Then, the first conductor and the second conductor may be pulled together through a conduit. The first conductor may slideably move through the first sleeve and the second conductor may slideably move through the second sleeve as the first conductor and the second conductor are pulled together through the conduit.

摘要: An energy coupling device for coupling energy into molten metal. The energy coupling device includes a cavitation source which supplies energy through a cooling medium and through a receptor in contact with the molten metal. The cavitation source includes a probe disposed in a cooling channel. The probe has at least one injection port for injection of a cooling medium between a bottom of the probe and the receptor. The probe under operation produces cavitations in the cooling medium. The cavitations are directed through the cooling medium to the receptor.

摘要: A power management and smart lighting system is provided that enables efficient distribution of DC power to various building features, including LED lighting. The power management system includes an intelligent power supply unit configured to convert AC power drawn from a building load center into a deadband DC waveform. The deadband DC power generated by the intelligent power supply unit is then transmitted over power-with-Ethernet cables to a plurality of distributed intelligent drivers, each configured to intelligently power one or more LED troffers. The intelligent drivers may be daisy-chained to one another by the power-with-Ethernet cables, enabling a power-ring architecture. To enable easy control of the drivers, intelligent sensors can be distributed throughout the topology and connected to the drivers (e.g., via power-with-Ethernet cables) to enable a wide array of lighting control options.

摘要: A conductor trimmer may be provided. The conductor trimmer may comprise a grip and a trimmer. The grip may comprise a grip handle and a trimmer groove. The trimmer may comprise a trimmer handle. The trimmer may be configured to engage the trimmer groove. With trimmer snuggly attached to both the grip and a conductor, the trimmer may be rotated about conductor by a user holding the grip handle stationary and rotating the trimmer by the trimmer handle. As the trimmer rotates about the conductor, a first roller rail and a second roller rail may ride in the trimmer groove as a blade cuts layers of strands from the conductor.
