摘要: According to an example, in a method for calculating a route, a first network device may add a protocol attribute supported by a link to a link state protocol data unit (LSP) of the first network device according to a protocol attribute supported by a port of the first network device and a protocol attribute supported by a port of a neighbor network device when establishing an adjacency, and may flood the LSP. The first network device may receive a LSP from a neighbor network device, parse a protocol attribute supported by a link contained in the received LSP, record the protocol attribute supported by the link contained in the received LSP in local network topology information, to obtain updated network topology information. And the first network device may calculate a route according to the updated network topology information. A network device and a computing device may calculate a route.

摘要: A work mode negotiation method is disclosed. A core backbone (CB) device transmits a Mode Negotiate Request packet through an Ethernet port to a port extender (PE) device, wherein the Mode Negotiate Request packet carries a set of identifications of the PE devices for cascade. Next, the CB device receives a Mode Negotiate Reply packet through the Ethernet port sent by the PE device, and transmits a Mode Negotiate Acknowledge packet through the Ethernet port to the PE device. Finally, the CB device changes a current work mode of the Ethernet port from an Ethernet mode to a cascade mode after transmitting the Mode Negotiate Acknowledge packet.

摘要: According to an example, in an AC pool including a MAC and a plurality of LACs registered on the MAC, after a first LAC is registered on the MAC, the MAC issues a first traffic rule to the first LAC, wherein the first traffic rule redirects a discovery packet sent from an AP to the MAC. When receiving the discovery packet sent from the AP or receiving a discovery packet sent from the AP and forwarded via a LAC, the MAC selects, from a plurality of the LACs, a second LAC for handling the AP. The MAC generates a second traffic rule associated with the AP and the second LAC, and issue the second traffic rule to a plurality of the LACs, so that when another LAC receives a communication tunnel protocol packet sent from the AP, the other LAC redirects the communication tunnel protocol packet to the second LAC.

摘要: A gateway RB may search for an ARP entry of the destination IP address of an IP packet. The gateway RB may generate an Ethernet header based on a VLAN identification and a MAC address in the found ARP entry and a first local MAC address. The gateway RB may generate an Ethernet packet by adding the generated Ethernet header to the IP packet, and send out the Ethernet packet via an egress port in the found ARP entry; wherein the founded ARP entry is generated by the gateway RB based on a received TRILL-encapsulated ARP packet and a VSI on the gateway RB associating with the first local MAC address and the destination IP address of the IP packet belong to the same VLAN.

摘要: According to an example, a Controlling Bridge (CB) receives a VCF registration request packet sent by a Port Extender (PE) and sets interface state of a VCF interface receiving the VCF registration request packet from initial state to blocked state. The CB returns a VCF registration response packet to the PE and receives a VCF registration acknowledge packet returned by the PE after the PE receives the VCF registration response packet. The CB sets interface state of a VCF interface sending the VCF registration request packet from blocked state to forwarding state; sets interface state of the VCF interface receiving the VCF registration request packet as forwarding state, and establishing successfully a VCF link with the PE.

摘要: An example of the present disclosure includes a Group Member (GM) registering on a Key Server (KS) in a Group Encrypted Transport Virtual Private Network (GET VPN). The KS is to manage at least one group, and GMs belonging to the same group have the same group ID. The KS receives a group ID and a Security Association, SA, policy list supported by a GM sent by the GM. The KS, according to the group ID, determines a KS SA policy list corresponding to the group, and matches the SA policy list supported by the GM with the KS SA policy list according to a priority. A group SA policy with the highest priority is sent the GM.
