    Abstract: An animal toilet includes a partition portion, an upper space, and a lower space. The partition portion has a through hole allowing urine to pass therethrough. The upper space is present above the partition portion, and is a space in which a plurality of grains are disposed. The lower space is present below the partition portion, and is a space in which the urine that has passed through the through hole accumulates. A lower surface of the partition portion is provided with a hollow that catches an odor from the urine accumulating in the lower space.

    Abstract: An animal toilet includes a body portion, and a partition portion. The body portion has a bottom face part and a side face part, and is in a box shape. The partition portion is in a plate shape, and divides the inside of the body portion vertically. The partition portion has a through hole that allows urine to pass therethrough. The thickness of the partition portion in a surrounding part around the through hole is smaller than the thickness of the partition portion in a remaining part that is the part other than the surrounding part.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing a water absorption treatment material made of a plurality of grains includes a preparing step, a pulverizing step, a core portion forming step, and a coating portion forming step. The preparing step is a step of preparing a paper powder to which water-absorbent polymers adhere, the paper powder being derived from a sanitary product. The pulverizing step is a step of pulverizing remaining polymers using a pulverizer. The core portion forming step is a step of forming a core portion constituting each of the grains The coating portion forming step is a step of forming a coating portion so as to cover the core portion, the coating portion containing the paper powder, and the remaining polymers pulverized in the pulverizing step. In the pulverizing step, the remaining polymers left in a state of adhering to the paper powder are subjected to the pulverizer.

    Abstract: The manufacturing method includes a granulation step. The granulation step is a step of forming a plurality of granules by performing extrusion granulation on a granulation material using a granulation machine. The granulation machine includes a die and a roller. A through hole that allows the granulation material to pass therethrough is formed in the die. The roller pushes the granulation material into the through hole while rolling on the surface of the die. In the granulation step, low-speed pushing in which the granulation material is pushed while the roller rolls at a first speed, and high-speed pushing in which the granulation material is pushed while the roller rolls at a second speed that is higher than the first speed are executed.

    Abstract: A skin material for vehicle interior includes a woven fabric woven by using a side emission type optical fiber and a multifilament as warp or weft, and is joined to a substrate for vehicle interior to constitute a vehicle interior material. In a surface of the woven fabric which constitutes the inside of a vehicle compartment, a virtual surface constituted by connecting side surfaces, on the inside of the vehicle compartment, of the side emission type optical fibers is in close vicinity to the substrate for vehicle interior, as compared with a virtual surface constituted by connecting side surfaces, on the inside of the vehicle compartment, of the multifilaments. Examples of the vehicle interior material in which the skin material for vehicle interior is used include door trims and roof trims.
