摘要： A method and apparatus are set forth for playing a token collecting game based upon Blackjack. Using a card reading device the dealer completes their hand first according to the rules based on Blackjack before the players have to act. The card reading device reads the cards of the dealer's hand and instructs the dealer whether to draw another card for the dealer hand until the dealer's hand is completed. Thereafter the players compete their hands armed with the knowledge of the exposed card of the dealer's initial two-card hand and the number, but not the values of, cards required to complete the dealer's hand. After the players have completed their hands each player's hand is resolved against the dealer according to the rules of Blackjack.

摘要： Disclosed are an input/output structure, a gaming machine including such a structure and a method for use of the input/output structure. The method includes the steps of dispensing a first ticket from the output port and onto the surface above the first chute and of accepting at least one of currency or a second ticket into the input port and then the second chute.

摘要： A device for forming a random set of playing cards is disclosed. The device comprises: a top surface and a bottom surface of the device. A single card receiving area is provided for receiving an initial set of playing cards. A randomizing system for randomizing an order of the initial set of playing cards is provided. A card collection surface in a card collection area for receiving randomized playing cards one at a time into the card collection area, the collection surface receiving cards so that all cards are received below the top surface of the device is also provided. An image capture device reads rank and suit of each card before each card is received on the card collection surface. An elevator raises the card collection surface so that at least some randomized cards are elevated at least to the top surface of the device. A processor controls operation of the device. A motor drives the elevator, wherein an encoder is provided for communication with the motor, and wherein the encoder provides a signal indicating that a shuffle has occurred. Embodiments include a processor that creates commands and then receives system signals verifying that the commands were properly executed.

摘要： A system and method for reducing network dependencies for streaming content is disclosed. According to one embodiment, a host streaming server is configured to host a plurality of host virtual machines for hosting a host instance of a plurality of content packages and provide the selected instances of the content packages to a plurality of client gaming devices over a network. A director module controls migration of the host instance to the local instance from the host streaming server to at least one of the plurality of local streaming servers.

摘要： A gaming system includes logic circuitry and a gaming machine for conducting a casino wagering game.
