Abstract: An airfoil for a gas turbine engine according to an example of the present disclosure includes, among other things, an airfoil section that has an internal wall and an external wall. The external wall defines pressure and suction sides that extends in a chordwise direction between a leading edge and a trailing edge, a first impingement cavity and a second impingement cavity bounded by the external wall at a leading edge region that defines the leading edge. A first crossover passage within the internal wall is connected to the first impingement. The first crossover passage defines a first passage axis that intersects a surface of the first impingement cavity. A second crossover passage within the internal wall is connected to the second impingement cavity. The second crossover passage defines a second passage axis that intersects a surface of the second impingement cavity.

Abstract: A cooling structure for a gas turbine engine comprises a gas turbine engine structure defining a cooling cavity. A cooling component is configured to direct cooling flow in a desired direction into the cooling cavity. A bracket supports the cooling component and has an attachment interface to fix the bracket to the gas turbine engine structure. A first orientation feature associated with the bracket. A second orientation feature is associated with the gas turbine engine structure. The first and second orientation features cooperate with each other to ensure that the cooling component is only installed in one orientation relative to the gas turbine engine structure. A gas turbine engine and a method of installing a cooling structure are also disclosed.

Abstract: A mid-turbine frame for a gas turbine engine includes an inner frame case that includes a fluid passage. At least one spoke includes an inlet passage with at least one branch extending in an axial direction in fluid communication with the fluid passage in the inner frame case. A fitting fluidly connects the at least one branch to the fluid passage in the inner frame case. The fitting also includes a transfer tube connecting the cooling airflow passage to a cup boss. The transfer tube is fixed relative to the cylindrical portion and moveable relative to the cup boss. A swirler tube is in fluid communication with the fluid passage and is configured to direct cooling airflow in a radial inward and downstream direction.
